Pastor Eric McNeil
After practicing law in Dallas, Texas for 25 years, Pastor Eric gave up his legal career to accept God's call to become the pastor of Mandeville Bible Church in 2015. Eric is fully committed to serving God as a pastor in His church by preaching God’s Word (2 Timothy 4:2), shepherding God’s flock (1 Peter 5:2), and preparing God’s people for works of service, so that the Body of Christ may be built up (Ephesians 4:12).
Eric’s primary goal as pastor of Mandeville Bible Church is to encourage and equip believers to fulfill Jesus’ Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) by living on mission to reach others with the good news of the Gospel.
Eric was born in Freeport, Texas and grew up in Paducah, Kentucky. He holds an engineering degree from the University of Mississippi, a law degree from Tulane Law School, and a master’s degree in theology from Dallas Theological Seminary.
Eric and his wife, Melissa, were married in 2009. Melissa was born in Shreveport, Louisiana and grew up in Waco, Texas. She is a graduate of Baylor University, and she has previous experience serving in both church staff and parachurch ministry contexts.

Student Minister Casey Rushing
Casey was born and raised in Abita Springs, Louisiana. He attended Ben’s Ford Christian School where, at the age of 15, he was saved during a weekly chapel service. After high school, Casey attended Northshore Community College to study Diesel Mechanics. During this time, God began calling Casey to serve in ministry. This was a calling, not to immediate ministry, but to a change of direction. Casey received an associate’s degree in Diesel Powered Equipment Technology, and he is now enrolled in the undergraduate program of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary to receive ministry training.
Casey and Alanna were married in 2016. They have two children — Kadence and Isaiah.
Casey and his family live on campus at the seminary. Casey has been the student minister at Mandeville Bible Church since 2018. His greatest desire for the student ministry is to see God glorified by students trusting in Him as their Savior, and serving Him as their Lord.
Isaiah 6:8— “Then I heard the voice of the Lord asking: Who should I send? Who will go for us? I said: Here I am. Send me.” Casey’s humble plea is that the God of Glory would continually use him however He desires.
