Ministries @ MBC
Corporate worship is the key to growth in a healthy Christian lifestyle. Along with our Sunday worship, we have many small group ministries to facilitate that growth. From Bible Studies to Action Groups and activities for children and teens, these ministries are geared toward spiritual growth in a more personal setting. Please feel free to inquire about our small group ministries.
- We have a men's fellowship where we meet for breakfast once a month. Besides enjoying the fellowship, there is usually a short devotion brought by one of our men or a guest speaker.
- We also have an eighteen month Leadership Training Program taught by our pastor, Nick Greco. The men in this class meet weekly and usually have a homework assignment that is to be completed by the next class period. The areas of training include such topics as: How to study the Bible for yourself, sound theology, the function and purpose of the church, elder/deacon responsibilities, evangelism and the follow-up of new Christians, prayer, leadership principles, overcoming destructive habits, etc. There is also Christian service ministries in which the men are periodically involved. This class is designed to help the present leaders sharpen their Christian leadership skills and help those men who would like to one day serve as a church leader and learn the Biblical bases of Christian leadership. This is a high commitment and accountability class and the prerequisite for taking part is to already have a basic commitment to follow Christ in one's daily life and have a sincere desire to be used by God in the development of His church. This training runs from September through May, the summer is taken off, and the training is completed in the following September through May. A new class forms each September.

The Women's Ministry is a dynamic program. We have had in depth biblical studies, 'Ladies Night Out's, craft nights, and several other engaging activities based on the interests of the group. Call the church office for more information and dates of our next activities (985) 626-3314.
Heart-to-Heart Program
Our Heart to Heart is a program established for pairing older ladies with younger ladies. Partners meet with one another at least once a month and contact each other once a week. Activities include encouraging and praying for each other to shopping, eating, walking, or whatever is decided. All women including single and working women are encouraged to participate. Please join us! We would love to get to know you!
Our services reflect a balanced blend of music, featuring traditional hymns as well as contemporary praise songs and choruses. "The Hymnal for Worship and Celebration" is our hymnal. Also, our services routinely mix the sounds of piano with flutes and trumpets.
- We also utilize soloists and ensembles for special music and to provide focus as we prepare for God's Word. Our Children's Choir (Pre-K through Grade 5) also performs several times a year.
- When a month has a fifth Sunday (four times a year), we hold a Koinonia Service. The focus with this type of service is to provide each member of the congregation an opportunity to share (if they wish) the Lord's working in their lives. Thanksgiving, praise and prayer requests are blended together with a short devotion and integrated praise choruses to make this a truly unique worshipping experience. We look forward to each one as a special time of renewal with our Eternal Father.
Mandeville Bible Church currently supports nine Missionary families. These folks minister around the world in Africa, Europe, South America, Central America, Philippines, and the United States. We have the privilege of supporting these families and have been blessed with their friendship. It is always encouraging to hear from them and fellowship with them when they return home from furlough.
Each year a Missions Emphasis Weekend is held in March. The weekend includes a special guest speaker, visits from Missionaries home on furlough, music, and fellowship.
We believe that God has given us a command to be active in World Missions. Mandeville Bible Church provides many opportunities for the believer to participate in this great commission.
Purpose: To build relationships among the church body.... getting to know each other more than the Sunday "Hello" during church service hours.
Action groups of 8-12 people meet once a month in homes or at an agreed location to do a variety of things. These have included fellowship time, prayer time, short Bible lessons, picnics, sports events, tubing, laser tag, concerts, team building training, and other activities. Sometimes the whole family meets and sometimes we get baby sitters.
How to get involved - ask around.... call Dr. Greco, speak to one of the elders, deacons, locate an action group leader or call the church office at (985) 626-3314!
This is an excellent opportunity to get to know each other
and we would love to have you!
At Mandeville Bible Church, we strongly believe that our children today are God's leaders of tomorrow.
With this in mind, we have a number of programs in place to help supplement their spiritual training, which we feel must begin in the home. Sunday School classes are available for all ages, from early childhood to adult.
Children's Church is available for school age children, kindergarten through grade five. Children's choir and drama group is part of the church's ministry to help children learn to develop and use their talents to glorify the Lord.
