                      What Is A Bible Church?

A Bible church is a group of believers who hold to the historical
faith and believe the Bible teaches certain basic truths:

• The virgin birth of Christ


• The substitutionary atonement of Christ


• The deity of Christ


• The inspiration and inerrancy of Scripture

A Bible church is not affiliated with any denomination and is
therefore governed by its own by-laws.

Following are the major distinctives of a Bible church:

• Its emphasis on the worship of God


• Its practical, in-depth teaching of the Word of God


• The equipping of the saints to do the work of God


• Outreach into the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ

A Bible church is therefore characterized by expository preaching
and teaching, with practical application for today's living, and
having an outreach through evangelism and world missions.
